Classic Call of Duty Titles Set to Join Xbox Game Pass This May

Excitement is building as classic titles from the Call of Duty franchise are set to join Xbox Game Pass this May. Just recently, signals indicated that Call of Duty is gearing up for its entrance on the Game Pass platform. Following Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard, discussions among fans have been thriving regarding the beloved series' future. While the franchise is set to remain accessible across multiple platforms, Xbox has already started to incorporate significant titles from the series into Game Pass. At present, Black Ops 6 is the sole title available, having released simultaneously with its launch. However, several older Call of Duty games have surfaced in the Microsoft Store, igniting speculation about additional releases.

Reports from industry insider eXtas1s suggest that Call of Duty: World at War, recognized as the fifth installment in the series, is slated for arrival on Game Pass in May. When inquired about the potential introduction of other Call of Duty titles, eXtas1s confirmed that only World at War is confirmed for May, while hinting at another possible title making its way to Game Pass in March, though specifics on which game remain unclear.

In addition to World at War, the following Call of Duty games have recently appeared in the Microsoft Store and may soon be available on Game Pass:

  • Call of Duty 1
  • Call of Duty 2
  • Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
  • Call of Duty: Ghosts
  • Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops III
