The most recent update for Helldivers II on the PS5 features enhancements to the matchmaking system
Helldivers II has made a monumental debut on PC as the most successful PlayStation PC launch to date, yet persistent matchmaking issues have been tarnishing the player experience.
Arrowhead Game Studios has responded to the widespread complaints by releasing a new patch for PS5, following its earlier deployment on PC. Game director Mikael Eriksson acknowledged that while the update mitigates some matchmaking concerns, they are diligently developing a comprehensive fix, which requires "a few more days" for testing.
Eriksson stressed, "The key takeaway is that we've implemented further enhancements to the matchmaking process. We’re in the midst of finalizing a complete matchmaking fix, which necessitates a couple more days for thorough testing and implementation. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we iron out the remaining kinks."
