Asus ZenPower Slim
Today we have a short review on Asus’s ZenPower Slim. This power bank from what we can tell is not yet made available to the public, but was given to attendees for the ZenFone Max Plus M1 llaunching event as the door gift.
The ZenPower Slim is an amazing looking power bank with one uncommon feature that normally other power bank lacks, what’s that? Find out in our short review!
The ZenPower Slim is a sleek looking power bank, the casing is fully made of plastic. The top compartment is made of matte plastic with hairline design and the lower compartment with glossy plastic.
The lower compartment housed all the I/O port, you’ll find the full-size USB and the Micro USB here, also with the single LED flashlight on the far left, and finally the status button at the far right. The indicator LED next to the Asus logo, there’s 3 LED light here instead of the usual 4 LED on another power bank, but it still displays the battery amount effectively.
Flashlight is a welcome function for power banks in general, it comes in handy during awkward times such as looking for keys at night, or just simply finding our way to the toilet.
The ZenPower Slim hold 4000mAh Li-polymer battery, there’s another 3000mAh variation too. As common power bank in the market normally holds about 5000mAh, it seems to be an odd choice for Asus to go for sub 5000mAh. None the less, the ZenPower Slim still able to charge your phone at least one time, which we think is enough for a simple outing.
The USB port of the ZenPower Slim provide an output of 5V 1Amp, and during our test, the output does hold steadily at 4.92V & 0.97Amp. Theoretically, it takes about 6 hours for the power bank to fully charge a 4000mAh phone.
The Asus ZenPower Slim is really light, at a mere 92g; almost as light as 3 AA batteries. With thickness of 8.5mm, it makes holding the power bank and phone at the same time perfectly comfortable.
The Asus ZenPower Slim is available Malaysia now retailing at RM59! Visit this Link for more details!
